Community Responsibility

// Service to society

Building the infrastructure
Nigeria needs

At Nelmaco, we believe that business success and community development are inseparable. As a manufacturer of piping systems critical to water access, sanitation, and infrastructure — we take seriously our responsibility to the communities we serve, the environment we operate in, and the nation we are helping to build.

// World Water Day 2025

Main sponsor of Plateau State's 2025 World Water Day

Nelmaco Global Resources was the lead sponsor of the 2025 World Water Day celebration in Jos — reaffirming our commitment to the United Nations standard of clean water access for all. Represented by our Public Relations Officer, Mr Alfred Baker Mgbejume, Nelmaco pledged continued partnership with the Plateau State Government, the Ministry of Water Resources, and development organisations to ensure every citizen has access to clean water.

// Our ESG commitment

Environmental. Social. Governance.

Environmental

Nelmaco integrates environmental stewardship into all operations — manufacturing pipes that contribute to sustainable water management, reducing ecological impact, and supporting Nigeria's climate commitments.

Social

We are the first indigenous pipe manufacturer in Plateau State — employing local talent, developing local capacity, and actively sponsoring community water access initiatives that benefit tens of thousands of Nigerians.

Governance

Our operations are anchored on corporate integrity, transparency, and full compliance with Nigerian regulatory frameworks. We are duly registered and operate a comprehensive Quality Management System across all functions.

// Government collaboration

Partnering with Plateau State

Nelmaco works hand-in-hand with the Plateau State Government and the Commissioner of Water Resources to flag off rehabilitation of boreholes, water treatment plants, and sustainable water supply schemes. We are aligned with Governor Caleb Mutfwang's mandate to ensure all citizens have clean water as a right — not a privilege.
